Mark's 1963 Studabaker
I got a call last week from a gentleman named Mark who has a 63 Studebaker. He said he wants to add a stereo to it and the shop that he was talking to was showing some classic style stereo that would go in the dash and give him Bluetooth and he want to know if had some options.
I talked to him a little more and found out that he didn't really care about the Bluetooth and he actually would like to play CDs if that was an option.

So I got him set up with one of my entry-level jvcs that does AM FM, CD, USB, and Bluetooth. I mounted it under the dash in an underdash shroud that I carry for classic cars. Ran new wires to the fuse panel and hooked up to his existing amplified antenna.
The rear deck of this vehicle was kind of sorry looking with the old sun faded carpet so I made a new rear deck with some thin ply and the customer was able to source some brown vinyl to use.

Top loaded to Polk Audio 5 and 1/4-in speakers and I retrofitted the Ford third brake light to the new rear shelf.

It looks much better and you know honestly the two speakers sound pretty good for what they are. I actually had to set the high pass filter on the head unit to 100 HZ because there was too much bass mounting the speakers in the rear deck like that.
